I recently bought a DIY cube from cube 4 you (see above for description). I am trying to figure out how to put it together and I am having a bit of difficulty. It came with some small tabs... I have no idea where they go. I cannot find instructions for this particular cube and it seems to vary a bit from the ones that I have found. Any help / tips / advice / ect. will be greatly appreciated.

The cube feels like a cheap piece of crap. I have one, worst cube I've ever used. I'd pick a storebought over it.
WHAT???!!!!??

mine is amazing

like Cubes=Life said, don't bother with the tabs. Also, make sure the caps don't have any bumps before you put them on the cubies (sand off any bumps along the sides).

Well I just got one too but from 9spuzzles
I did as pentrixter yesterday night.
I spent some time filing the tabs with my nail filer to make them fit nicely into the edge cubies.
Once I got everything in, I took each one off, applied superglue and glued it back in (To ensure they never come off again).
Then I let it dried and I filed the tabs again to make if flush with the edges. I also filed the tab tips by half something from its original length.
Assemble and add some lube in it and voilà a decent speedcube.
I have it on average to high tension with the screws. Not bad.. Got to put my stickers later.

You must also factor a break-in period. The cubies aren't cut perfectly so you will need to make some rough edges smooth. The lube will end up slowing down your cube. I suppose you can use it to break it in though...

hmmm I guess the reason the cube will slow down is because the lube doesnt help to smoothen the rough patches.
So when the lube is used off, the rough patches show up again.
Well in my case, I do not really mind. I did "break-in" my cube before hand. I spent some time mindlessly fingertricking it when I had nothing to do for a couple days.
