Of course $17 is enough but I don't know whether to have the mini auction or go with the first serious offer. So I guess it's up to all interested to decide.
 
Alright, a small auction it is then I guess.

I'll be shipping the day after (or at most the second day after) payment, unless that day is a Sunday.
 
I feel bad taking it from you...
I can sell you an unlubed mint condition Diansheng for like 4$ including shipping. I don't know why you want his cubes but here's my reason:

I really want that modded type A. And I was planning on ordering a set of cubes from C4Y (whatever I wanted and 2 for my 2 friends) with lubing and assembling service + the super expensive shipping to the US. So when I saw this I was really excited.

If you give a good enough reason then I'll just let you have it. I hate auctions it makes me feel bad.

This is why I was afraid of the auction, I tried to figure out who made the first offer but it was so hard to tell because most posts in the beginning were questions about the cubes and not direct offers.

Actually, I'll just let my friend use one of my DIYs and then get a dealextreme cube for him or something.
I'll send you the type C

(or if we could save shipping why don't you just ship the Type-C to him and we'll pay proportionately if you don't mind. I'll still pay you, Athefre, $16 for the A and Diansheng and then you, dougbenham, could pay you, Athefre, for the type-C)

or if thats a problem I could just ship you the type-C for 1/3 price of Athefres bundle + whatever shipping costs me.
 
Since neither of you were really the first to offer (Musturd first asked just for the A, dougbenham was the first (after someone else who backed out) to say for sure that he would buy all), it makes sense to me, even though it continues the discussion of this auction, to go with the best offer. Musturd seems to want this set mainly for my modded A, dougbenham seems to want the set mainly for my C.

I planned to say to you guys that I may sell you both the ones you want but first...

dougbenham, users here say that this is a Type C. Looking at the pictures and my own Cs I would agree. Same pieces, same screws, and same springs.

I am still willing to buy the whole set if dougbenham wants the one on dealextreme because I can just charge my friends(and I assume you still want to get rid of it)

BUT I think he wanted to buy off of you to get it quickly, though. Dealextreme usually takes more than a week.
 
The reason I wanted to buy this was because the type C caught my eye, as I don't own one yet.. However, the other reason I was going for this deal was because I was getting all 3 cubes for < $10 each, which is a good deal to me. If you're just going to split up the offer and sell the type C to me alone, then I'd prefer not to buy it, you can just let Musturd have the set. I admire both of your extreme caring and consideration in this situation. Sorry to have caused trouble.
 
If this was ebay, I wouldn't be seeing what is going through the bidders minds. I wouldn't, and the bidders wouldn't, have to debate which person deserves to win. I wouldn't have to worry about those things there, and I shouldn't here, nor should I care, it's an auction (or at least it turned into one).

So, as much as I feel for both of you and as much as I wish I had more to sell, best offer gets it in this case. When I make my 5x5x5 FS topic, the first to offer will be the winner.
