When I first started cubing, I thought it would be cool to create my own method. I did, but quickly decided it wasn't worth working on. Well, recently I started thinking about this method, and wondered what other cubers would think of this method. It consists of six steps, create a 2x2x2 block, add 3 2x2x1 blocks (I counted this as three steps), solve a corner/edge pair, and solve the remaining five pieces.
First 2x2x2 Block:
Pretty self explanatory. Just build a 2x2x2 block:
Adding 2x2x1 Blocks:
Add a 2x2x1 block to each side of the 2x2x2 block:
Solve a Corner/Edge Pair:
Pick one the the three slots and solve the corner/edge pair.
Solve the remaining five pieces:
This will consist of, at max, 83 algorithms.
So, let me know what you think. I really don't know if this is worth developing, but I'd just wanted to share my idea.
