[Member Intro] New kid on the block

Hi everyone.

I'm Ender from Spain. I have original Rubik's cube since 1980 but just started speed cubing about a month ago. I'm learning CFOP but my times are too bad.

My PB is 1:27:858 (beginers method) but now learning basic F2L, my times are getting worse (over 2 min )

I am very excited and I practice every day. I hope my times get better. My 3x3 cubes are: Gans 356, Dayan GuHong, YJ Guanlong and Weilong.

I have a lot to read in this great forum to improve my skils.

Welcome to the Forums! A few words of advice.

1. Try to solve with your guhong more than your other puzzles. This will teach you turning accuracy,which will be better in the long run.

2. Read some of the stickied posts, such as the how to practice one.

3.try other methods, such as petrus, zz, and roux.

4. Try out other puzzles, such as big cubes and mega. I get bored just doing 3x3, and I found those events to be a lot more fun.

5. Finally, just have fun!

My times worsened too when I switched to CFOP. But slowly you'll understand the cases more quickly and you'll get faster. My times improved quickly after getting a proper speedcube but you already have nice ones. Just keep practising F2L and you'll get better.
