I made this account a while ago but I never got around to posting, but now that I'm getting back into cubing...

I am Skullush and I live in Maryland. I first started cubing when my brother showed me pogobat's video. I got my time down to about 100 seconds but then I lost interest. I was given a Professor's Cube a few months later, so then I started cubing more on and off, eventually learning F2L and such. Now I average around 35-40 seconds with my PB being 27.64 seconds. I'm in the process of learning all of the PLLs right now. I hope to eventually get my averages down to the 20-second ballpark and maybe start trying blindfolded solves.

I'm still using the same Rubik's Cube I've had for forever, but I just ordered a few DIY cubes and hopefully those will help.

So... That's it. Just introducin'.

Welcome back! You live in a good area for competitions, too, I think.

So who hated you so much to give you a RUBIK'S five by five? Get a V-cube if you can, or if it's too expensive, a QJ. If you're interested in big cubes, that is.

Remember, it's never too early to start learning BLD. I learned while I still knew Dan Brown's method, and now I'm glad I did. Much more appreciation from spectators, and it's a variety from regular eyes-open solving. It will probably also help you not get bored of cubing as a whole.
