Hi, im a new member here, i've been cubing since the beginning of april this year and my record on the 3x3x3 is 45,73s (average is about 1min) and on the 2x2x2 it is 27,69s (pure luck, when i had solved the first layer, the second just needed to be spinned in place), on the 3x3 i use intuitive F2L (i can't deal with most of the badly twisted pairs), learning OLL (know about 15 of them) and learning PLL as well (know 9 of them), on the 2x2, after i solved the bottom layer, i just do an OLL matching of the corners (since the cross isnt there, i only got 5 algs to remember, which is the same as for 3x3)
then i just use corner cycle and its solved.
I also got a question about what type my 3x3 cube is, i have searched the internet for days now, and no success, also checked the review of various cubes on this sites, none of those matched mine, i will post pictures and a little info about it in the Help/Questions page.

Also may I suggest you learn Ortega for 2x2. There isn't very many algs to learn but you can still get fast times.

yeah, im doing that, started with OLL but then i moved over to PLL and leaving OLL as it is until im done with PLL, , and thx for the link, gonna check that up, although i've already made the post asking for help about it x(
