new guy to speed cubing

ive known how to solve a cube for about half a year know.now i want to put some speed into my cubing.i was wondering if there are any tips you guys have for me or sites with tips.thanks

any tips on how to memorize these algorithems so i can avoid driving myself to insanity?ive been trying by crunching it but to no avail.

Like I said many times:
Figure out the F2L by yourself. Easier, faster and more powerfull IMHO.

learning the algs "intuitively"(using common sense) is MUCH easier, faster to learn, and easier to understand. Check the sticky.

did the first few f2l on my own like recommended. the rest i did over youtube watching the videos. hevent figuered all out yet and still slow in the execution but i m getting closer to my goal .
