New DaYan+MF8 4x4?

Limited Edition DaYan+MF8 4x4 on WitEden

This is a bit tantalising, does anyone know what they mean by "a new design 4 by 4."
"No hidden layer, and new spring structure."?
The video doesn't elaborate at all. Does anyone have any first hand experience of this cube, or pics of the new internals?

that's the regular M48 dayan 4x4 but in blue...nothing new really

same 2x2 ball core structure.

Minor thread jack here. This cube is really nice, I've been using it for about a month now. Came out of the box very decent and after break up and lube is working wonderfully. I haven't taken it fully apart yet, hadn't had a need to. With the screw spring core can this be loosened up slight to allow for smoother moves?
