New 2017 Rubik's Brand 2x2?

[qwertycuber]

I was looking through Feliks' speedcubing info spreadsheet, and it says he uses a 2017 Rubik's brand 2x2. Does anyone know if this is new, because I'm quite sure the other Rubik's 2x2 are not very good. (And it looks like Feliks broke his 3x3 PB with a 3.01 a week ago)

I've never heard of that before, but that actually sounds awesome. Also, that 3x3 PB is insane!

How would you describe it?

Since this is Rubik's, it would be awesome to walk into a physical store to buy this instead of having to buy it online.

[AMCuber]

I wonder where you can get it!

[Aysha]

How would you describe it?

It has a unique feeling. Smooth and fast with no lockups. Sort of like a Dayan but not quite.

It also had the GES nuts system.

That honestly sounds awesome. I'm hyped.

I really can't wait until it comes out. (unless it is out already)

Holy ****, the Gan partnership actually produced something good under the Rubik's brand...
Well, at least it looks good so far. It'll be interesting to see if Rubik's actually starts making good cubes.

It'll be out within a month or two!

[AMCuber]

Yes........ do you think it would make me let go of my lingpo? (As meaning it would be a good main?)

How do you know? I also wonder if it will be released under the Gan brand.

For me personally definitely a main contender! So I don't see why not!

I asked Gan himself, that was his response. It will be released under the partnership between Gan/Rubik. So most likely Rubik.

Rubik' brand cubes becoming mains... It's a brave new world.

Sub-3 LL skip in sight!

[Luke8]

I'm pumped.

[Tyler Comfy Hat]

The Gan folks working on something that isn't a 3x3? What is this madness?

But yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

[AMCuber]

I hope it isn't a lot of money. I have over 5 2x2s. I really don't want to have a whole collection of 2x2.

WTF?!!! (Wednesday Thursday Friday) ...

lol the only thing Rubik's provides is the access to a large market (aka physical stores)
