Trapped in my mind
Hi everyone im going to my first cubing competition. And im already signed up (Moroccan Championship 2025) and it happens that WCA didn't send me my WCA ID by email or in the website himself do you think i have to contact them or wait, also can you give me advices and somethings that i need to watch out for (if i give them a puzzle how do they recognize mine) and they start with events I'm not in so can i come late in my event and check in or should i come in the morning check in (can i go somewhere else in events I'm not participating in?)
Thank you

The thing you put your puzzle in is labelled with your name.

they start with events I'm not in so can i come late in my event and check in or should i come in the morning check in (can i go somewhere else in events I'm not participating in?)
You don't have to be there the whole time, you can leave during events you're not in.

Ur wca ID is not sent to you and will be given too you after the comp

here are some pointers:
What about the first check in do i have to be there
no, you do not have to be there. Just be there when it’s time for your event.

there will be a “cube submission area” where you can look for your name and submit your puzzle. They usually announce names.

WCA ID is given after the comp online. There are some situations where you have to get a competition ID at the comp.

Some competitions have a waiting area, where you just wait there until a judge calls your name (the guy who times your inspection). Some comps have fixed stations where you just look at your score card and find the station number. You can also ask a delegate or organizer for clarification.

you do?

Hey good luck at the comp. Dont worry about the wca id, it will be provided after the comp. You do not have to be there the entire time. Also to handle nerves pretend they do not exist. Pretend you are at home, solving as if you it was just anther ao5. To know what group you are in for each round you should look at your nametag usually with a list with events and groups on the back. Again, good luck, hopefully you get nice solves and make some new friends! :)
