I got it the first day and i assembled it put stickers on and everything. I played around with it for a while before lubing it. Once i lubed it i noticed an immediate difference with it and it was so incredibly easy to turn. It was great for another 1 week or so then it started to slow down considerably(mainly because i popped it while not paying attention and dirt stuck to the piece and got in the cube i think and because dust was building up inside). It eventually got to a point at which it was really gummy when i turned the faces. So, i disassembled it completely and wiped all the screws and washer with a dry paper towel. I also took all the pieces washed them and let them air dry. In addition i took the core and washed that(only the core no center pieces attached) and air dryed and used a blow dryer. Then I reassembled it after a day and tryed to use it, it seemed pretty nice but then i noticed that the center piece would fall out of the core, the whole screw would just fly out... I then decided to screw the screw in a little tighter. Then i lubed it again and it isnt as good as it once was. In fact not even close to how good it once was. Any ideas on how to improve it? Do i need to loosten the screws a little? BTW im using liquid wrench silicone

Sounds like you stripped out the core. Your only salvation may be to set the screws to the tension you want, and then super glue them to the core. You will lose the ability to adjust tension, but I can't think of any alternatives other than ordering a new core.

Alright thx a bunch waffles ijm i tried putting super glue in the core
and the cube is godly now!

WTF! None of you even noticed?
im using liquid wrench silicone
LIQUID WRENCH SILICON is not good for the cube, it also smells pretty bad. My friend, there's your problem. You used the wrong kind of silicon, it's not made for cubes. You should use CRC or Jig-a-loo.

1. Change Lube and do what Waffle suggested.
2. New core.
3. Don't use Type As. (completely irrational, but this one's my favorite)
