So, my friend half glued a corner an my Zhanchi and yeah... picture000.jpgpicture001.jpgpicture002.jpg

Internal things glued.

I'm afraid I'm not going to offer a solution.
I was just going to check that you know not to glue pieces together unless they are causing problems during solves.
Instead of breaking ZhanChis come apart which is quick and easy to rectify.

Yes, but my point is that you'll probably just end up using it once or twice, obviously, it's up to the OP to decide.
How did his friend glue the cube in the first place?!

A small bottle of acetone is less than £1 here but it might effect the plastic.

That is such a rip off, I'd say just buy a new cube...

Oh, it does? And don't forget the fact that it may be potentially dangerous.

You're implying that it will be a waste to buy it because op will only use it once or twice. But you also mentioned he should buy a new cube, sounds like a pretty big waste to me. An entire cube wasted because of one piece (which may easily be put right).

I doubt it will be dangerous because of its presence in nail polish removers, which are already present in many households. So I thought it may be possible that op wouldn't need to buy it anyway.

Acetone might melt the plastic as well. Use it at your own risk.

This sounds possible, but I only mentioned nail polish remover (acetone) to sway the direction of the previous comments away from the 'just get a new zhanchi/weilong...' or 'corner piece for sale at cubicle...' style responses. OP wants to know how to 'un superglue' his corner...I was just trying to get the ball rolling.

Are there any other lifehacks/household chemicals that can be used?

Acetone might work, but it will probably warp the plastic. Acetone gets into plastic like water into a sponge, warping it in the process. Use it sparingly, and see if you can target the superglue.

As for the safety factor, there really isn't a problem but I'd recommend using it in a well ventilated room.
