Hi, first post on the forum, but i have been lurking a while. Have searched to no avail yadda yadda yadda. Basically, i am attempting to go Colour neutral, but have a huge difficulty recognising oll and Pll quickly when i have both yellow and white to contend with. What do you lovely people have to say on this subject?

I have never had that problem when solving another cross. OLL and PLL is more of a pattern. But I guess you just need to practice to get more comfortable.

Maybe its me, i just seem to have difficulty especially in low light recognizing similar colours, i.e you would not believe how many times mid solve i realise that on my cross the red is paired up with the the orange and vise versa. I was thinking that maybe a colour scheme change would solve all my woes, but perhaps it really is just my brain that needs to be sorted out.

It happens to me also. But I am never cubing in low light, so it is not a problem!

If the issue is just the color scheme, try a half-bright sticker set from cubesmith, that should really help after you spend a few days to get used to the new colors.

If you are having trouble just because you aren't familiar with the different colors yet... uh... maybe try doing color neutral 2x2x2 solves?

The point was I find it hard to destinguish the white and yellow meaning I read the patterns wrong. I have decided to go away from CN anyway, I don't see the and vantage of saving maybe 1 turn in my cross for fecking up the rest of the solve as a worthwhile investment of my time.
