Need a Stack Mat Timer Gen 2

[Ipawds]

I've been browsing the internet for days and cannot find a Stack Mat Timer Gen 2. I really want one, and I don't care if it is used or new. If it comes with a Mat, that's a plus. If any of you guys have one to sell, or know where I could get one, please tell me!

But why do you need Gen 2? Gen 3 is easy to buy.

You can buy one from speedstacks.com.au

Just send them an e-mail.

Tim.

Gen 3 sucks?

The most recent batch with the sideways latch seems to work fine.

Ooh sideways latch..? What did they modify?

The new timer locks into the knobs on the stackmats tighter, which I believe helps with preventing the timer from jolting when stopped, dislodging the battery and creating shutoffs. At Blizzard Town last week, all of the timers that experienced shutoffs were the old versions. I cannot verify this, but timers also seemed to stop more consistently with the new version.

All of the timer malfunctions at Hillsdale Fall 2013 were July 2012 timers and the other ones were fine. What month is the latch one?

Now I'm super curious... how can you tell what month they were made?
