About 10 minutes ago I got my first sub-20 solve. The time was 19.19 use the JNetCube timer. I used a 3LLL. The cross was quick, and the transition to the F2L was smooth. The thing that made this so quick was I was looking ahead constantly and the pairs were smooth. I know I can repeat or even beat that time in the near future. ;)

Congratulations Patrick! That's awesome!

Yeah look ahead is definitely the way to go to get sub-20. If it helps, one thing I always try to do, don't finish placing the current corner edge pair until you have already spotted the next one.

Congrats again! You'll definitely get sub-20 again, all it takes is practice.

Happy cubing!
Chris

Good...but not quite good enough (j/k)

Haha, i had my first sub 20 solve like a week ago, so i'm up on you

:P

Naah, Congratulations Pat, though we still need more practice before school starts up again...got to get avg of 20 sec like we told everyone we would. It's amazing that we have progressed at the same rate pretty much ever since we learned how to cube...the odds to that are so slim
