Multislotting in 2025

That's a pretty impressive technique but in practice, sometimes is better to do some amount of little steps than a single and more complicated step, even if is shorter. The thing is that it can be shorter but time consuming because of the access to that case in memory and/or execution.

It mainly depends on the user. Tymon Kolasiński mentioned in a video that some people value different ratios of TPS, lookahead, and efficiency. If you can turn really fast, then you should focus on TPS and lookahead, but you don’t have to be as efficient, and vice versa. For me, I really value efficiency and lookahead.

multi-slotting is a really useful skill/technique to learn as it can allow you to lookahead to 2 pairs in one look almost instantly which means that you don’t have to pause and can go all out in TPS. It’s also really useful when planning further into inspection since if you get used to multi-slotting then you have more knowledge over how pieces move = can predict where pieces will be and their orientation.
