I got this puzzle as a Christmas gift, but I’m told it was ordered from Amazon.

The puzzle was reportedly ordered a few months prior to Christmas Day, 2024.

This is single-handedly the best 3x3 I’ve ever laid my grubby little hands on. I got the UV-Coated, Ball-core, magnetic version, and it’s amazing. I’ve been using it for a lot of time every day since receiving it. This is the first puzzle that’s been too LOOSE out of the box, as most are way too tight! It has a variety of tension and elasticity settings, and it was quite easy finding the combination that works best for me. The pieces are shaped in a way that prevents popping and corner twists, while still allowing near 45 degree corner cutting. The only downside to this is that the cube is very hard to take apart, so cleaning it will most defenitely be a hassle. The pieces have strong magnets, but unfortunately cannot be adjusted and may be too strong for some. Each corner piece also has a dragon scale texture, further increasing the smoothness of the cube. The box even came with a little booklet containing all the algorithms for F2L, OLL, and PLL! 😂

All in all, this is an amazing cube, which I would give a 9/10.

I will give my review of this cube since I have had one since it came out and I got another backup for Christmas so I have multiple experiences with it.

Thoughts on the puzzle:
My first impressions with the cube weren't amazing, it was dry and didn't perform the best. With some setting changes and lube it turns into a drastically better cube. So my personal settings for it have it lower gear 1 and upper 2. It can only really be good on looser settings, especially the gear where 1 is the best and 2 could work, and make sure to set the gear to 1 to take it apart so you don't risk breaking it. As for the lubes my personal setup that I have tested and played around with a bit is Dignitas on the tracks and 1-3 drops of Fz Calm whenever it starts to drop in performance. I will add that my settings of 1 2 are more for OH, but they still work really well when I use it for 3x3, so you could start with 1 2 and go from there to find better settings and personalise it for you.
The breaking issues that some people have with it may be caused by general recklessness coupled with the gear being on a higher setting. Since it is a fairly tight puzzle to start with, trying to take a piece out without knowing the proper way and having it tighter will increase the risk of breaking. Though I have been very careful about that, turning a face 45° to take an edge out while the gear is on 1 and I haven't had any issues.
I have only tried the Spring UV version, but it is already a really fast puzzle, so I would save the few bucks and go for spring and not maglev unless you really like maglev. There is an issue I do have with the puzzle, and any Moyu cube in general, that is more explained in this video. My personal take is that with Moyu's plastic it degrades over time and becomes worse, many top cubes have needed to buy cubes again and again just to have them perform well. For me I noticed that the V10's plastic degraded to a noticeable difference after about half a year from purchasing my first cube. I don't think there is currently a fix for this aside from buying another puzzle, and it is definitely more noticeable in OH than 2H but it is still a problem for both. Overall I don't think this is something to fixate on, just to take into account since the puzzle still has very good performance even with the current plastic state of my first cube. DSM explained it better than I have so watch the video too if you can.
Ranking The Cube:
Overall the puzzle is one of the best 3x3's I have ever personally tried, and I have tried a ton of the newest 3x3's. I would put it safely in the top 5 3x3's I have tried, and top 5 overall. If you do OH then I would say it is a clear favourite and I would rank it as the best I have tried, though I would safely say top 3 is the popular placement.
I will give this cube an 8/10 since the performance is amazing with some setup and break in, but the plastic degradation drops the ranking by a little bit.

I enjoy it, but its definitely not for everyone.

Its very rigid and blocky, so if you're a light turner, it will be really good.

It does have breaking issues, which is a big problem however.

I'd give this cube a 7.5/10

I bought this cube from Cubelelo online store (store for India) and this was bought in Feb of this year.

I had very very good timings with this cube and everything felt immediately better than before since I had been using a WRM 2021 Maglev (purple interior one). However, a few days prior I was heartbroken when, during practicing, v10 just blew into pieces and I discovered that the green center had broken off of the ball core. This was a big purchase for me because it was the first cube I had bought myself and it was quite expensive. The earlier WRM was a gift to me from a family friend. I am really heartbroken and now I am really wondering it any cube with plastic core is actually worth getting?? I want a better cube because the older WRM is quite worn out and not fast enough for me. Really sad.

I bought the non-ball core version off of speedcubeshop, the corner pieces can fall apart easily if dropped or falls on mat hard. If you like turning fast you will have to loosen it quite a bit and then it will corner twist easily. I give it 6/10 (my new GAN 14 is much better)

I’ve seen a lot of misleading reviews for the v10 but this takes the cake.

Also pro tip, try not dropping your cube. Works for me.

You got it loose OOTB because MoYu fixed the tightness issues on the cube. Latest batches were different than the ones made upon release

The V9 would be better.

Why aren't we discussing about v11 ?
Agreed.
I havent seen anything here about it really, and id love to see if anyone else has had core breaking issues (i hope not. This is also the reason why i own a 1 of 1 superglued wrm v11)

This is off topic imo so ima give my thoughts on the wrm v10 - note that i dont own the puzzle, but one of my friends have it and I have used it alot.

- I did get to have some first turns, so i can say imo that its quite loose out of the box, something i personally like to a certain extent, so it wouldnt of needed much tension adjustment for it to satisfy me.

- However, from my personal use, It needs to be lubed in order to actually be a good puzzle.

- Its 9/10 set up, even though my friends set up is quite different to how id set it up, my only problem being how you cant really get rid of the blocky feeling (imo).

- However, this cube does have 1 big problem which is probably why I didnt get it myself.
The breaking.
Well, in all fairness, its not entirely the cubes fault that the user (in this case my friend) has a rough turning style which can , in my opinion, make the cube more prone to breakage, but im still saying this is a problem as id expect it to break after a few months minimum of going through harsh turning and a lack of being took care of.

Overall, i think this cube is good if you have a light and accurate turning style, but not if you have a rough turning style, and so overall id give it a 7/10.

Note - the version in question is 20 magnet bc without maglev.
