Snagged a Rubik's at my wife's office Christmas party gift exchange about a month ago, thinking "I never solved one of those, I bet I could learn!"
Familiar story, I'm sure- now I'm buying cubes willy-nilly and working on replacing my inefficient noob algorithms. Best solve is under 1:30 so far.
I'm 39, married with 2 young daughters. I'm a coffee roaster.
Other obsessions include playing drums, drinking beverages (beer and coffee) and writing with fountain pens.
I suspected this hobby was mostly really young folks (which is cool) but I see some original cubers around too- awesome.
I'd love to meet any local cuber here in central Ohio, especially somebody who can show me some stuff.
