Due to the rising number of questions concerning various speedcubing methods, I propose that we create a thread / sticky that has descriptions, links, etc. for all of the commonly known methods and variations, as well as some other lesser know ones. Also, we could do this for puzzles other than 3x3 (big cubes, square-1, magic / master magic, and BLD are a few that come to mind). Let me know if you all think this would be a good idea, and of course, it would be a collaborative effort.

do you want me to start compiling some known websites for some of the more obscure puzzles? (Magics, Pyraminx, Sq-1 etc.)

Sounds like a good idea. Feel free to get it started.

Jon, as far as the "Guide Forum", we have something like this in the How-To forum. What else is the difference.

I think that the presentation looks a little nicer, with possibility of each tutorial being split up into pages, with individual entries on different pages. So Doug's Commutator/Conjugates tutorial would be split into 4 pages - intro, commutators, conjugates, applications. I think it would be more organized and easier to read if it were split up like that.
