instead of the more well known Letter Edge pair for Bld solving (this goes for corners too)
instead of memorizing the edge as a letter could i abreviate a Edges colors and remember it as (ex. the red white piece) Erw
i can memorize easier with this rather then a letter.
If you need me to label more let me know.

(red-white-blue corner) (red white edge) (red-white-green corner)

I don't do bld but from what I know, you assign a letter to each sticker, not to each piece.

so how would you know the orientation of the piece by your system?

swapping the letters
(solved) Rwe
(flipped) Wre
but with speffz you memorize only one letter for each piece/sticker, instead of 3 or 4 letters. how does this help with memorization?
it's better to just learn proper memorization, even if you have to learn something new.

i dont understand how to label it with just a letter.
its a little easier for me to remember a set for one piece for some unknown reason.
This thread was more of just a thought because im still trying to understand how to actually solve w/OP
so i dont really know a whole lot.

i dont know ive been trying to memorize it for about 6-7 months now sooo.... :/
dont think it can work
ok, wanna do a race to first 3bld success?

I think you can learn it. we can make a thread and help each other.

I wanted to learn how to solve 2x2 BLD but I don't have one anymore so I'll try to learn with my 3x3 with corners then edges then do everything.

Letter pairs are important for recognizing parity, since you get an odd number of targets when you have parity. It is easier to recognize that you have an odd number if you end up with a single extra target with no pair at the end. Also by pairing the letters you are able to store 2 pieces in one word which cuts the amount of "things" you need to remember in half. While you are free to explore and try any method that works for you, letter pairs are highly recommended.
