Megaminx vs Sqaure 1?

Just deciding whether to get a Megaminx or a Square 1.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
(The MF8 Megaminx v.2 are the best for speedcubing, right?)(And MF8 Square 1 is also the best?)

If I were you, I'd get a megaminx. Meffert's Megaminx is the best out there, if you don't want to spend a lot of money, then mf8 v2 is good.

If you like F2L: megaminx, if you like learning algs (or figuring out hard puzzles on your own): Sq1.

The Megaminx is just a cube with more faces. The Square-1 is a completely new beast.

I have both the regular square 1 and the ball core one. The ball core one is so much better than the regular one in so many ways and I would highly recommend getting it. I got mine from speedcubeshop for like $10. It's not too pricey at all.

Personally I don't like the megaminx, not that fun. I've never tried the Square-1 but I really want one, might order one tonight. Go with the Square-1.

I was going to say Square 1. I have both and Square 1 is fun to learn, while Megaminx is longer. When you do get the Square 1, I recommend the following tutorial. I tried a bunch of them and this one was by far the best for me.

try both, I like more megaminx, but if you're up to challange, square-one is much harder to figure out solution

I like megaminx more . My very favorite puzzle at all.
but solving megaminx is not a new challenge like square 1 . You should have seen my face when i first scrambled my sq1
it's hard to say but i highly recommend both
