Megaminx Opinions

[gundamslicer]

Which is the best put of the three in your opinion? Merfetts qj or mf8?

[emolover]

mf8... you should know this.

mf8... you should know this.

Why should he know this? People have varying opinions.

OP: It's Mefferts.

[masteranders1]

imo, mf8. They don't come well out of the box, but if you lube them and loosen them they're good.

[pcuber]

Mefferts megaminx if you like smooth tuning and some what fast, Mf8 if you like fast but some pops. I personally like Mefferts better and yes I do have both.

All I have is the qj. It seems to work well, but I'm sure the mf8 is better.

Merfetts and mf8s are 20$ though is it worth it?

[FoxWolf]

I have a mefferts and a QJ, and I would never touch my QJ again. Meffert's all the way. I found it at Zeller's (seeing you're in Toronto) for 32$(I think)

I got it on sale for about 50% off at xmas time.

I would check zellers, they seem to carry some meffert's from time to time. (I would go before they change into Target)

mf8 comes really tight but is awesome if you loosen it

[Carrot]

I prefer MF8 vII

[Reinier Schippers]

mf8 v2 is like 13 dollar on lightake?

[porkynator]

Is qj really that bad? Because I'm wondering about buying it, since it costs only 5€...

I think it can be good. Mine's about as good as my old rubik's 3x3x3. I still use that over my FII sometimes. I use it for BLD all the time.

I've got a QJ and thats it and it pops
