Meffert's pyraminx popping?

I just started playing with my new Meffert's pyraminx today, and every few solves it pops. Is this normal? My firend's never pops, so was he lucky, or am I just screwed, because it only started popping after it was fairly worn in. Even more recently, it's been locking up fiarly often, like just after I start turning, it stops until I let go for a bit. If it matters, it's the Pyraminx with PET labels, not the new hollow one.

Also, my square 1 I ordered from mefferts loosened itself, but the screw head was stripped when I got it??? Both puzzles lasted less than 24 hours!

EDIT: The problem is getting worse ever time as well, and two of the corner pieces are now sticking farther out than the other two. Should I send Meffert's an e-mail?

All Mefferts Pyraminxes I own got bad after a while, sorry.

the "transparant" pyraminx from DX is really nice (got it today)! I put a bit of lube in it and it spins faster than my Mefferts one , and for just 4.99$ I recommend getting one, although some people have one that breaks the day they got it

my mefferts pyraminx has never ever popped. never. i love it. even when you try to pop it... impossible.
