[Member Intro] Me and my daughter

The only planned competition in the US currently is Pennsylvania Championships held this August in Hershey PA. If you can make the long drive I suggest going because it's the first US comp in a long time and a lot of people will be there. However registrations already closed and there is a long wait list. I plan on attending.

hey i live in the same state, I can send you the algs to all OLL and PLL for you so you can finish them. The closest comp is in Pennsylvania but school starts before then in my county so kids from WV cant really go. anyway, welcome to the forum!
Thanks. Defiantly nice to find someone from my state. I’m actually using the GAN robot to practice. I used to just gather a bunch of cubes and practice 5-10 at a time. It’s odd but I like it. With two cubes I can have it set up one while I work on the other. Seems like a waste of money. But it’s fun. I’ll likely go back to using multiple cubes eventually.

I just want to say that, if the competitions ever start happening again, it's great to bring your kids to the competitions. I brought my kids up on cubing competitions, and those are memories they cherish, as I do. (They were even judges at the World Championship in Las Vegas in 2013!) None of my kids ever got really good at cubing, but all 3 can still solve in less than a minute. And they made friends at the competitions that they will always remember.
