yeah my family is from Japan, and every summer I go to Japanese school for a month. Its AMAZING. It's not free though but its worth it. theres rice or bread, milk, soup, fish or meat, and some other stuff. Kids also learn how to dissasemble the milk cartons.

Everything I say is either from memory and/or coffeezilla, or from my opinion.

To have cubing connected to Logan Paul, prime, and to an extent KSI, scares me. Here’s why:

First of all, Prime is popular amongst children, hype beasts, and those other ones who just think they're cool for drinking it, and drink it because its trendy, also why are so many people who drink prime British?! (and also lots of the children like football I think, not important but just wanted to say)

I don't want an influx of 10 years or younger gen alphas joining cubing, yeah sure we'll be more abundant, but I'd prefer quality over quantity.

Logan Paul is a crypto scammer*, and owes SO MUCH money for crypto zoo, according to google $3.6+ million, and the suicide forest stuff, which I personally don't know much about.

KSI is also a crypto scammer*, doing pump and dumps, pumping up the value, which is very easy for an influencer, and then selling the crypto after publicly stating that they would be keeping the crypto.

Prime has confusing advertising*, advertising a hydration drink, with low sugar, which in the main usage of an energy drink is sports, where you need to get rehydrated quick, and sugar helps that.

All being said, I'm glad max park is having this chance and opportunity, despite it being with people I really hate.

TLDR for the 3rd one: sugar = glucose, Prime has low sugar, glucose helps the hydrating bits get into the bloodstream faster, too much potassium.

PRIME is just horrible when it comes to their energy drink. PRIME Energy has way too much caffeine (200mg), and if kids drink it, they might end up in the hospital. Thankfully, PRIME was sued for that.

Imo I really don’t want speedcubing to be capitalized on.

First of all, Logan Paul and KSI are influencers who have been accused of some really bad stuff (crypto scamming) and I don’t want them in the community.

Second of all, I really like the closeness aspect of the community, and turning cubing into a more of a capitalized upon sport will change that. It will become more competitive and less fair, as competitive formats usually will offer less fair formats so people prefer watching it. (Ao5 is more fair than a head to head format, for example.)

Imo this could negatively affect the community for the worse if sponsorships like these continue. Having a potential competitor to the WCA that would offer less fair formats so something that I don’t want to see.

This is why I don’t like red bull competitions. They aren’t as fair, and only really good competitors can compete in them. They also don’t have events like FMC that can be really fun, but not spectator friendly at all.

Overall, I hope that we don’t see cubing becoming more capitalized on as it would be negative for it (in my opinion)

That’s really bad. In my school, lunches are free but they also don’t have much nutritional value. Some of them have carrots in it, but for the most part, most them are just plain turkey sandwiches, (nothing else but turkey and bread on them) bagels, or yogurt and granola.

Not very healthy for a lunch, as there aren’t many vegetables, and virtually no fruits.

That’s why most kids bring their own lunch in my school.

There are some kids who don’t eat even lunch at all, but I am not sure if it’s because of the quality of the lunch or just something that they do on a regular basis.
