Heres the question i randomly made up cause i was annoyed at @Thomas.Caleb

tell me what x = if the volume of a cube is 563 cm cubed and x is the square root of one of the cubes sides multiplied by the area of a circle with a diameter of 12

He got 30.63.
I got 324.99033031
Who is right ?

If the volume of a cube is 563 cm^3, then each side’s length is the cube root of 563, or ~8.26 cm. The square root of this is roughly 2.88 cm.

You didn’t specify the units for the diameter of the circle, so I’ll assume they are also cm. The area of the circle is pi * (d/2)^2, where d is the diameter of the circle. Plugging in 12cm, we get roughly 113.1 cm^2.

Multiplying these two numbers together, 2.88 cm * 113.1 cm^2 = ~325.73 cm^3.

OP was likely correct in their calculations. I consistently rounded to two decimal places, so their answer is entirely plausible if they calculated with a greater accuracy.

This question is quite nonsensical though—what’s the context?

We are given:

Volume of the cube = 563 cm³

Diameter of a circle = 12 cm

---

Step 1: Find the side length of the cube

Since the volume of a cube is:

\text{Volume} = \text{side}^3

\text{side} = \sqrt[3]{563} \approx 8.24 \text{ cm}

---

Step 2: Find the area of the circle

Radius cm

\text{Area} = \pi r^2 = \pi \times 6^2 = \pi \times 36 \approx 113.10 \text{ cm}^2

---

Step 3: Compute

x = \sqrt{8.24} \times 113.10 \approx 2.87 \times 113.10 \approx \boxed{324.60}

Final Answer: 324.60 (rounded to 2 decimal places)

Me being annoyed at caleb lol and i cant even remember why.
I think he said 1+1=window and then for some reason i decided to make that up.

Volume of the cube is 563 cm^3

Each side is ~8.25726 cm

√8.25726 cm * 113.09734 = ~324.99086 (x)

Idk if I did it wrong but here is my answer
