Is the mastermorphix just like a "mirror blocks" version of Pyraminx..? with centers I guess..?

Is it solved the same way as a pyraminx?
I want to get both but I was just wondering if they're solved the exact same way

A 3x3 huh..
*gets his 3x3 to compare to pic...*

It looks like a 3x3 without bottom corners to me.. Well, there are those corners but they just turn on their own don't they?

And you can't really use 3x3 algs.. Cause there's only 3 sides.. so U2 or D2 for example would be a way different result..?

It's like a 3x3. It has six centers, 8 corners (big ones and really small ones) and 12 edge pieces. Take it apart, you'll see it's just like a 3x3, don't let it having 4 sides fool you.

How on earth does it have 6 centers :/
I guess I'll just have to figure it out after I buy one :o

It's basically a three-sided pillowed pyramid(the bottom doesn't count as a side of the pyramid) or pillowed tetrahedron, which has 6 "edges". The middle of each of the edges is a center of the puzzle.

I use fridrich to solve the 3x3. The mastermorphix gives me a headache cause I can't use the usual algorithms without messing up the center pieces. Can anybody tell what algorithms I can use?

I have a 4 colored mastermorphix - the usual algorithms mess everything up. If I use the Fridrich algorithms for oll and pll the center pieces of the L, R and F sometimes turn.

Not everything, just the centers. See my previous post.
