[Unofficial] Maskow: MBLD 24/24, 24:38

IIRC the rankings at the end of the old style era were something like:
1. Tim Habermaas 24/24
2. Dennis Strehlau 24/30
3. Ryosuke Mondo 33/50
All three of them took much more that one hour (Mondo's attempt took 6 hours or so).

When I practiced I always tried to do one MBLD attempt per day (in the ~2012 I did two big attempts per day for few months). Now I do two "small" attempts per day, slowly increasing the amount of cubes and I want to end with one big attempt per day again. I didn't practice other forms of memorisation much, sometimes I did one speed cards attempt per day (it's enough) or sometimes I tried a little number memorisations attempts but I really don't care about it now. I also didn't practice almost anything for very long time in the end of 2013 and in the 2014 so my 50 cubes attempts in the end of 2014 was for me something like returning to MBLD (but after that I had another 2 months pause ;P ). But I don't care about pauses. Time is my friend, not an enemy. There is really no reason to practice more than I do, brain still needs some time to learn new things and to improve the memory condition. And on my level there is one thing much more important than better memory: concentration.

I have no idea. Solves with BLD method are very different and there are solves that needs only 7-8 algs to solve and there are solves that needs 13+ algs.

I'm not sure about it but I did it few times in MBLD and I'm still here :P

Because it is. Not now but it is :P
But about my two last videos:
I did 16/16 in 16+ minutes and it was slower than I expected. I can do it probably ~1 minute faster, not more.
I did 24/24 in 24+ minutes and it was FASTER than I expected. I expected ~27 minutes and I really don't believe I can easily do it under 24 now. This attempt was almost perfect ;) But the good thing is my accuracy: the last few attempts were all 100% even if I was sure that I failed some cubes ; O
Attempts on more cubes will be slower/per cube because this is the moment that I should add one extra review.
