Maru-Mod V-Cube 6x6x6?

Is it possible to mod a V-Cube 6x6x6 in such a fashion that the pieces wouldn't
reach the core, and an ES/Maru style block was added to take away mis-aligns?
Could this idea even be approached? Because I'm done with pin modding. I've
had enough pin-prick bleeding, 24-hour glue-cure waiting, and disappointment to
probably ever re-pi-mod my 6x6x6. Is it possible?

If your asking if you can put a block onto the core like ES did, then no, MM&P told why in his vids. Because then the inner most and outermost layer would turn at the same time.

yes it's possible. you'll get get a crappier quality cube is all with an ES block.

Yeah, I've done it, it's functional.

I remember when this was first proposed in 2008 on twistypuzzles. 3 layers will be godly, whilst other 3 will be tight. No inner layer misalignments though.
