So I came up with a variant of the method that contains some elements of ZZ, ROUX, CFOP, and PFCL, that being EO, F2L pairs, M-slice abusing, and Pseudo Cross. So unlike the FIRST variant of the method, we start by doing EO. Then, we make the Pseudo Cross, and fixing the cross will have lower move count than the first variant of the method, because the edges are oriented. Now, we can do ZZ block building F2L, a pretty fluent F2L with lower move count, as you don't constantly need to do R and R' moves. Then, we get Pseudo COLL(that's what I like to call it), then we can use Roux and do last 8 edges, which involves s moves, and it is likely expected to double the number of moves that is required to do LSE in Roux. If you want to do LSE in PFCL, you can just solve the same color edges that are opposites, but that's basically the same thing as doing EO Roux.
