I’m thinking about getting a magnetic cube as my main(GTS2M), but I’m not sure if I should also use it as my OH main. Would magnets improve my times or does would it hinder me for some reason?(I average around 40-45 for OH) Would it take a long time to get used to or would I get about the same times in a few minutes? Thanks.

It really depends on personal preference and turning style, I use a GTS2M as my OH main and I love it.
It might take some time to get used to the magnets, but how long it will take just depends on your turning style and if you actually like the feel of magnets.

But I would definitely recommend getting a GTS2M for OH and/or 2H.

On the other hand, I cant stand magnetic cubes for oh, i find them too uncontrollable, it's really just personal preference but until you get sub 20 oh it dosen't really matter

It's personal preference really. A recent poll in a Facebook group I'm in had these results:

Strong magnets can make turning difficult, so if you do want to use magnets, you'll want to make sure they're weak. That way they'll be able to help with stability without it having much of an effect on your turning. Stability is very important for OH as it's difficult to recover from mistakes.

On the other hand, although non-magnetic cubes may be less stable (which might lead to more cube drops), turning is a little easier (especially for people new to OH) since turns require less force to initiate. Layers are also less likely to stick together, which is helpful if you do Roux for OH, as otherwise you might find yourself doing Rw/Lw moves when you attempt to do M or R/L moves. This is less of an issue for ZZ/CFOP solvers, but it's not negligible.

So it's up to you. Try both and see what you like more.

I chose a GTS2M as my OH main (over a nonmagnetic Valk) after doing 50 or so solves on each and finding that I was about a second faster with the GTS2M. For me, the magnets provide a lot of stability (to make up for my sloppy turning) without increasing the force needed to initiate a turn too much.

(On the other hand, they do hinder turning on my Wuque M, especially with the strong inner layers, but it's not like 4OH is a real event anyway.)

I just got my GTS2M an hour before my comp round and I went from 45 to official 40 avg and 30 pb. It seems to make awkward D and AUD moves more consistent.
