So I've been siting around, waiting for my Magic to 'magically' get fixed by itself, but I was about 75% sure that wasn't going to happen. So I went to the store, bought the necessary material to make my own strings (which did work out pretty well) and started restringing (or as I like to call it: taming the beast).

That did not work out too great; I do not have the patience to fix the g darn thing. I tried several times, spent a few hours, just to end up at the beginning again.

I would really appreciate it if someone could repair it for me. I am of course willing to reward the person to do this, in whatever form (I have PayPal, or if you're coming to German Open, I'd be more than glad to pay up there (beer anyone?)).

This request is of course directed to people living nearby. I don't expect anyone from the US to fix it for me (I am in Aachen, Germany atm).

Also, this is the kicker, I need this done in about a week (I only have 1 Magic, and I am planning on using that one at the German Open as well).

I do not feel like ordering another one, since the delivery time and shipping costs are killing me.

I am aware that this request is quite insane, and I'd be grateful if anyone considered doing this.

Thanks in advance

Joel

I live in the US so it looks like I'm out of the picture, but a magic really isn't as hard as it seems to restring. Try this page, it helped me figure out what in the world I was doing when I needed to fix mine. I think mine is actually better after I restrung it.

I did use a lot of sites, and videos, including Lucas' page. I understand the process, but quite frankly I am not very good at it. Let's just say I got frustrated after a few hours and ended up throwing things around.
