Ducttapecuber, that's exactly what's happened. Antoine, Originally, I was saying them as two separate things, in general, but what Ducttapecuber said is basically true. That layer is pretty uneven and it's quite annoying. I've thought about replacing that center with a new one, but I don't want one center with the new plastic and the rest with the old. I'd rather just get another old Gu Hong. No one seems to be getting back to me, though, so I may have to do a little digging.

It does help if you loosen that side a lot more to try and counter act the extra tension from the screw on that side.

Yeah, I have tried messing around with each side a bit, because I've pretty much mastered tensioning cubes with crooked screws, but can't seem to get this one just right.

it's not that the screw is crooked it it that you have to adjust that side so that there is the same tension on tha piece as the others.

The white ones are much better than the black ones, actually. However, I have a white one that is perfect. It's just a shame, I don't use white cubes. It is really good, though. I need a black one.
