At the Nisei Week Japanese festival (which hosted the Nisei Week tournament last week) there was a booth running a talent contest. At the urging of some friends, I went up and solved a cube blindfolded. Not a trick or prepared scramble, this was a legitimate solve, and luckily I got a success on my first try.

The talent contest entries are up for the public to vote on at http://www.mo-la.com/talent-contest-little-tokyo
Winner gets a gift certificate to a Japanese BBQ restaurant which I don't particularly care about, but it would be cool to win anyway :D

Yeah, on looking at the site more closely, it's not particularly clear. The link that translates to "Rate" under each video seems to read "Vote" in kanji (I think. Someone who actually knows Japanese confirm?). So I'm not actually sure if clicking on that link submits a vote for that video, or if the voting is based on the rating. Um... do both just in case?

Shelley Ftw :D . i did both lols .

on the page where you can choose each person`s performance , theres a chinese word vote just below the picture .

and on the video itself , it shows the rating . and there is a chinese word " vote " too .

Shaking eyeballs? That should receive a facepalm award. (So that we never have to see that again). That's like twitching your toe or something.

Was that Hanabi at the background? Lol at the singer :D
