I was just wandering arround the forum and saw someone's post saying something on the lines of "everyone has an introduction post and I noticed I haven't got one yet so here it is". Well, that's quite literally the same position I am on, word for word.
Hello, my name is Rodrigo Teixeira, but my profile is called CubingKid because when I created it I chose that name and I don't know how to change it. I am a currently 15 year old cuber (born 2010) who specialises in fmc and blind solving. I am portuguese, catholic (I promisse I won't bring my religion to the forums unless if it is explicitly verbally attacked by someone) and know how to solve a rubik's cube since late 2019, when I was in forth grade, altho my first competition was only in 2023 in Spain after my parents didn't register me on time for Lisboa Open 2023 (the first competition after the pandemic, which had its registation spaces full in 15 minutes from what I heard).
My global averages are (I'll only list the events I actually care about):
3x3: 11-12 secounds
7x7: 5min 30 (I care about 7x7 because I'm practicing in order to get a time under the cutoff of 5 minutes in the next competition)
3bld: 45-55 secounds
4bld: 10 to 15 minutes
fmc: low 30s
I have the secound place in Portugal for both fmc single and mean, with a single of 26 and mean of 31.00.
I have my wca account complete in terms of singles, and in terms of means I only have left to achieve 7x7 mean (why cutoffs, why), 4bld mean and 5bld mean.
I also have an youtube account, altho it's not that interesting and mostly in portuguese. (search @rodrigoqteixeira and you will find it)
