As an archaeologist I dug holes for many years. Towards the end I could feel the affects it was having on my back and I got out just before I had issues which would have likely remained forever. It makes me wonder if it's similar for speedcubers. By doing a solve like this is he putting his future solving at risk?

Its not really unreleased just not mass produced, they are available on some cube stores for around $6000, they probably don't even have the cube, just have it available and make a bit of profit ordering from yuxin if someone wants one
