I ordered an eastsheen 2x2, a white square one, and a type D (YUGA) cube.
I've never had an eastsheen cube before, but it feels extremely loose, but fast. Not disappointed at all. It's awesome.
The square one... WTF it is the stiffest thing to move ever. Even worse than all of my storebought cubes. And when it doesn't turn, I'm afraid I'll break it if I force it, because it feels so fragile (again, more fragile than a storebought rubik's. By far). The middle slice turns fine, but the top and bottom layers just turn like crap. Is it supposed to be like that?
The type D cube. My first DIY ever; not disappointed at all when compared to my past storeboughts. Only strange thing was that when I opened it to look at the screws (they were the fat ones, btw
), was that when I was disassembling the cube, I noticed that my fingers were sticky. I then looked at it in the light, and noticed that the cube was wet. Why was it prelubed? I've never lubed a cube as much so that it was as wet as this cube.
