IF THESE LINKS DON'T WORK, SEE MY PERSONAL MESSAGE I SENT YOU:
Good to see people are accepting you into the cubing community.
Pyraminx times are awesome (better than me), but you need to work on 3x3. I'm going to be sending you stuff that you need to learn.
You know the notation right? If not:
U - Top Side
R - Right Side
L - Left Side
D - Down side
B - Back side
F - Front side
Whenever one of those letters ends with a " ' " mark (e.g. U') it means to turn that face counter clockwise. Vice-Versa.
So.
The next thing you need to learn is called "F2L". You know when you're placing the corners? Then the middle layer edges? Well, there's a way to do those at the same time. Yup, F2L. Fairly intermediate. It slows your times at first right when you learn it, but after a week or two of practice you will begin to see gradual improvement.
Some F2L tutorials:
MeMyselfandPi's F2L (and other steps) Tutorial
Badmephisto's F2L Tutorial (recommended by many)
Then there's OLL and PLL. MeMyselfAndPi explained that in his F2L video. Listed above.
You're going to be learning what's called "2-Look OLL". Here's a tutorial:
(he explains what this is in his tut)
LanceTheBlueKnights 2-Look Orientation of the Last Layer Tutorial (where I learned: highly recommended)
Then there's 2-Look PLL. Here's Badmephisto's tutorial:
(explains what it is in video)
Badmephisto's Permutation of the Last Layer Tutorial
It may take a while to learn this stuff, but it's worth it. It'll slow you A LOT at first, but you will see giant improvements.
(OLL and PLL are replacements for Dan Brown's method: way faster and way more efficient)
