JJJAY’S progression thread

Hi, I am JJJAY, my final goal in 3x3 is Sub 10

I started cubing on February 8 2021

My current mains are: Gan 11 M Duo and X Man Tornado V2M

I will put one weeks progression in one post in this thread

Please also answer my queries about cubing if you know the answer to them, it help a lot

I am Sub 21 Currently

Although I get a lot of sub 20 solves, I sometimes get a 21, 22, 23solve I am working on marking myself get consistent 20 second solves and not get too many solves that are above 20 seconds

LL:
I will have to practise LL as my recognition is slow and might mess up LL sometimes

Edit: I got from 6 to 7 seconds to 5 to 6 seconds on LL

Cross:
I have to work on planning the whole cross during insp and solving cross in 3 seconds

Edit: I did some only cross solves, I got 2.50 to 3.50 second cross

I find myself planning 3 cross edges sometimes, I have to make sure I can plan all 4 cross edges

Cross:
Practising planning the cross and solving it repeatedly until I am consistently getting 3 second cross

Edit: I can plan and solve the whole cross 70% of the time

F2L:
My F2L is 8 to 12 seconds, I will have to get my F2L consistently under 10 seconds

Turning:
I have to slow down a little and turn more accurately
