Normally I wouldn't make a big deal out of this, it's just another national record. Around 30 of these happen each week. This one is interesting to me because first of all, it is top 30 in the world. Second of all, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is this guy's FIRST competition! I haven't seen anything online about him or on the WCA. To get a 1.48 2x2 average at you're first competition is incredible, and I think its worth watching out for this competitor in the future. Another thing to mention is he got a 7.78 3x3 average. With another competition coming up in Israel in a month, I think we should watch out for him.

that's one of the fastest first timers average for 3x3. The 2x2 average is just phenomonel.

Just checked, the 1.75 average they got in Round 1 is the best first average of a competitor by half a second. Damn.

Hi Nuuk,
Thank you so much for your acknowledgment, it means a lot to me as it required a lot of practice and honestly I think I can break my own record .

I’m 14 y.o. and it was indeed my first competition as I haven’t had the chance to participate up until now due to COVID-19 situation.
I’m anxiously waiting for the next competitions, there is one planned on April but I’m afraid I won’t be able to participate as I’ll be abroad on a family vacation, but I guess there will be many more opportunities in the nearest future.

Btw, in the same competition I got a 0.69+2 single on the second solve in 2 by 2 finals if it wasn't a plus 2 the average would have been 1.6x seconds.
