Is using a metronome to improve look-ahead worth it?

I am stuck at around 15 seconds average and I am considering using a metronome to help my look-ahead. Is there anyone out there that has used the metronome to practice look-ahead and has had success? Is it worth the time put into it?

Personally, I only found it helpful for up to 15 seconds and only when not doing algs as the algs should always be as fast as you can make it. So if you do roux, it can help for F2B or F2L in CFOP/ZZ. The problem afterwards for me was that I couldn't find the right setting for me as all were either slightly too fast or too slow (I turned at around 3-4tps).

If you don't have a metronome and don't want to buy one then just google "online metronome" and you'll get a Google metronome and you can change the beating rate. And it is is super helpful.

metronomes become useless once you can look ahead there mainly used for learning i coiuldnt use one past 20 seconds
