Is there a difference between white F-II DIY and black preassembled one from lightak?

The white one one is like 2.5$ cheaper, i'm just asking if it's worth it or not. I have a black F-II wich is not buttery at all anymore since i cleaned it and lubed with olive oil&WD-40 and other stupid things.

I ordered a maru lube, and wanted to know if the white diy F-II with that lube has the same buttery&smooth feeling as the preassembled black F-II(i mean with that lube never revealed to public, the one from "factory").

I've also thought about GH-II, New Type-A, Type-A2, AV, Maru 3x3, Guhong. Never touched them, don't know how they feel so i think i'll use F-II.

There is no Type F2 DIY. It's largely been dismissed as a knock-off puzzle, so I'd avoid it myself.

But, type A-V and Dayan GuHong are also good choices.

If you are going to order the F-II, order this one and no other. That one is the Sheng En Type F-II 2nd Edition - exactly the buttey rapid F-II you are looking for.
I have it and it is genuine. It comes pre-assembled.

the diy one you are talking about seems like a clone F-I

Akuma is right, I ordered that item in black and white several times and they are the real ShengEn FII in the black box with the lenticular face.

I'm just confused in choosing the guhong that seems never to lock up(in videos) or just stick with the f-ii that just works for me.

GuHong never locks up, has great corner cutting, but with CRC, doesn't have too much speed. I mean, compared to Ghost Hand II, and I think F-II is also extremely fast. My F-II should be coming on Monday from Cube4you.us (.com stinks)

Don't order the 'DIY 2nd Gen ShengEn'! It's definitely based/clone of the F1, looking at it's shape. I ordered the DIY for my buddy and it was a mistake bcos we wanted the F2.

Go to Lidl Market and buy Carcare W5 Universal Silicone Oil in spray. It is cheap ~ 1EUR and really good.

The current one is buttery again with cooking oil(maru lube not yet arrived), but i get too many lockups on T perm.. It cost like half a second per lock. Edge poping is pretty annoying too. I begin to regret for ordering another one. Hope I'm wrong.

Before lubrication - I disassemble and clean parts of cube. I use pure alcohol (98%). After lubricating the FII is really "buttery", but W5 which I use - is volatile. Disappears - but the cube is lubricated. Maybe it is a miracle?
F II is my favorite cube and don't get lockups.
If you like the cube, which operates more "opaque" to try the Ghost Hand II. For me it's very, very good cube. It's my number 2.
