Is SpeedCubeStore.co.uk FAKE?

If I order cubes from speedcubestore.co.uk, speedcubestore.com or speedcubekaufen.com (seems to be all the same), and I dont receive them after, lets say 5 weeks, I get my money back per paypal and then the cubes arrive, maybe 3 weeks later, is it illegal to keep the money and the cubes then? Or should I just wait longer for the cubes?

I think for every country there's a time limit for keeping the money and cubes, maybe, it's after months has passed.

coincidentally everything I ordered on speedcubekaufen.com and speedcubestore.com arrived today, exactly the cubes I ordered, factory new, and the prices were really cheap, MeiLong 3, Little Magic and Warrior W for 2,60€ and a GAN 356 RS for 14€ and a GAN 356 Air Pro for about 24,50€



I believe speedcubestore.co.uk is the same store aswell, they all seem to have the same impressum, the order took 4 weeks to arrive and yesterday I wrote them an email at [email protected] and they answered quickly and sent me the shipping track numbers, so everything was fine and much better that expected

Recently I came across a uk speed cube store called SpeedCubeStore.co.uk. It had good postage and good prices so I decided to buy a gan 356 XS there. The store said I would receive the tracking details by email before the end of the week.

FAST FORWARD A WEEK
Still no email. I was getting worried because I had paid more than £45 for it. So I searched the internet for any trace of this - and found none.

So could anyone clarify for me whether this store is real or fake please? Here is a link:

Well, I did order from there and found the tracking number on the website, ordered about a year ago (long time) and did recieve my package after a month

Anything from a week to three months, at speedcubing.org however, you can essentially guarantee they will arrive on Wednesday if you order by around 3PM tomorrow and select 'special delivery guaranteed' for shipping.

I've never used them but from what I've heard it can vary alot, anything from a week to months, I suspect they just use the cheapest shipping option from China which probably involves a ship leaving a port nearby every 2 weeks, your cube might be one of the last to go on or it might be one of the first...

I just bought the cube without checking out for anything as it was recommended by Google when i searched up for the cube that i wanted. I ordered a GAN 356M and all of these bad reviews are worrying me as i really can't afford to get scammed. Shall i be worried?

It's not necessarily fake, just very unreliable. As others have mentioned in the posts above, shipping can take anywhere from 10 days to 60 days (or not even turn up at all) If it doesn't turn up, there is a higher than average chance that you won't be able to contact customer support to get a replacement/refund. Hopefully you paid via PayPal and can open a case via their Resolution Center to get your money bak if the item doesn't arrive.

Sadly, there are LOTS of websites that are very sneaky about where they actually ship from (most of the speedcubing websites with a .co.uk domain are actually based in China these days).

ALWAYS check TrustPilot before ordering from anywhere - And remember, cheaper doesn't always mean better

We've actually shipped 3 orders to France this morning alone Maybe its the region. Ill have a little look into that incase it's an issue somewhere (well, obviously its an issue)

It's fixed now. huh. last time i checked it couldn't ship to france.

We turned international shipping off for literally 24 hours whilst we sorted out some cheaper prices with ROyal Mail. I bet you checked that very 24hour period haha Always the way

I did finally receive the cube. The problem was their customer service - they did not contact me at all.
