I am using the LBL for 2x2 and can sub 3 easily. I hope that CLL,EG can bring me further so I tried to learn it. Then I heard that one should one-look in order to get fast with the three variations. Are there any algorithms that I need to memorize? Is it only based on my intuition? Or are there any easy ways that anyone can explain to me how it works? I found that YT videos on this particular subject isn't really that helpful. PLZZZZZ help.

One looking isn't algs that you memorize. Once you identify the later/face you are making, look at pieces that will be on the last layer. You have to track three of them to see where they will be and in what orientation (the fourth you can determine from the other three). Look at one piece and visualize how each of the moves will affect it. You should be able to one look 1 move layers basically instantly, and so to learn how to one look, you need to start increasing your depth. Start with 3 moves, so every time you find a face that's 3 moves, you try to one look it. It will get easier as you go, then eventually you can start moving up to 4, 5 moves

ic... so what't the optimum number of moves in order to make a bottom layer? I mean I'm OK of the optimum of like 6 to 7, but I am not sure if I can manage more...

if you can do 5 moves with CLL, that's fine, there is only 1 or 2 cases where 6/7 moves is useful, and when you learn eg-1 then you will basically never have to one look more than 5 moves unless you choose to for a better angle or something
