My go-to 2H 3x3 fiddling move-sequence is my PLL time attack; I was wondering if people have some interesting PLL sequences.
My time attack sequence is
Rb, Jb, F, Y, T, Na, Gc, Gb, Gd, Ga, Ra, V, Ua, Ub, H, Z, E, Ab, Nb, Ja, Aa
Why it's interesting:
My time attack sequence is
Rb, Jb, F, Y, T, Na, Gc, Gb, Gd, Ga, Ra, V, Ua, Ub, H, Z, E, Ab, Nb, Ja, Aa
Why it's interesting:
- The sequence restores a solved cubestate without any AUF in the middle or at the end.
- The sequence ensures that there are no cancellations (for example a PLL ending in R is never followed by a PLL starting with an R' or R2', but may be followed by a PLL starting with R or R2).
- The sequence is organised such that all RUF algs (Rb, Jb, F, Y, T, Na) are together, all RUD algs (Gc, Gb, Gd, Ga, Ra, V; note all Gs are together as well) are together, all MU algs (Ua, Ub, H, Z) are together, and all algs requiring x-rotations (or Lw/Rw moves - E, Ab, Nb, Ja, Aa) are together.
- The algs flow quite well together: there is at most only one hand that has to regrip between algs, never both. Additionally it starts with Rb perm, imo objectively the best alg to pick up a cube with.
- The sequence works when I use all my main algs.
Rb: R' U2 R U2 ... F R2
Jb: R U R' F' ... U' R'
F: R' U' F' ... U R [also works for the other common alg R' F R f' R' F R2 U R' U' R' F' R2 U R' S, but the S will combine with the F of the following Y perm, which could count as a cancellation]
Y: F R' F R2 ... R U R' U' F' [also works for the other common alg F R U' R' U' R U R' F R U R' U' R' F R F']
T: R U R' U' ... R' F'
Na : R U R' U' ... U2 R U' R'
Gc: R2' U' R U' R ... R U' R' D
Gb: R' U' R UD' ... U' R2' D
Gd: R U R' U'D ... U R2 D'
Ga: R2 U R' U R' ... R' U R D'
Ra: R U' R' U' ... R' U2 R'
V: R' U R' U' R2 ... R2 U' R2' D R2 [also works for some other common algs]
Ua: M2' U M U2 M' U M2' [note that the M2' and the previous R2 prime can sort of be combined, which could count as a cancellation, but due to the somewhat large grip shift clearly separating the two algs no cancellation occurs]
Ub: M2' U' M U2 M' U' M2'
H: M2' U M2' U2 M2' U M2'
Z: M2' U2 M U M2' U M2' U M [also works for some other common algs]
E: x' R U' R' D ... R U' R' D' x
Ab: x' R U' R D2 R' U R D2 R2' x [note that the rotations cancel, but moves do not]
Nb: r' D' F r U' R' F' D r2 U r' U' r' F r F'
Ja: x R' F R ... r U2 x' [note that the last move is not an AUF]
Aa: x R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2 x [note that the rotations cancel, but moves do not]
plis no alg roast; I learned most of them in 2016-2018 when I ACTUALLY used to cube, and cubing was quite different back then.

Na : R U R' U' ... U2 R U' R'

Gb: R' U' R UD' ... U' R2' D
Gd: R U R' U'D ... U R2 D'
Ga: R2 U R' U R' ... R' U R D'
