improve 4x4 edge pairing and final solve time

hi, i was wondering to improve my times on 4x4. i can solve the centers in less than 35 seconds but it takes me around 3:10 seconds solve the whole cube. I pair two edges at one. Are there any ways to improve my time. Any tips to improve my look ahead?
