Hello everyone
I am doing a presentation in school about speedcubing. In there I want to include a chapter about most important cubers. And there I need help who should I include in there. I think of Feliks, Max and Tymon, cause I don't know that many more, but I am sure there are many more worth including in the list. Pls help me get a good list for non cubers.
Kind Regards

100% Agree with Gilles Roux and Jessica Fridrich. Here's my GOAT speedsolver list:
Feliks Zemdegs
Martin Egdal
Max Park
Tymon
Marcin Kowalczyk would be interesting to include

Here's a few that I've not seen anyone mention yet, but are/were super influential
  • Ron van Bruchem and Tyson Mao (Founders of the WCA)
  • Chris Hardwick (Known for his BLD accomplishments)
  • Chris Tran (Early ZBLL user, Magnets, Cubicle Labs, ZZ-CT and probably more)
  • David Singmaster ("Notes On The Rubik's Cube" invented our current notation)
  • Anthony Brooks (Imo, he's most known for his media appearances, such as solving on game shows and in car commercials)

No one's mentioned Erno Rubik?

I think as Inventor he was very important for speedcubing but I wouldn't name him a speedcuber.

Does anyone know if he ever solved his own puzzle timed and if yes how fast he could do it?
I don't even know if he was still interested in solving his puzzle after he invented it
