Sure! My channel is currently private, but I'll let you know when it becomes public. Good luck on your channel! Also, I would suggest promoting a single video in a thread here.

Edit: What is your channel? Clicking visit channel on your speedsolving doesn't seem to work

Edit II: Never mind I found it. For anyone looking, it's here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2WASSq-G2FD_efIT0JSK9Q

You need to make content that’s unique and worth watching if you want people to subscribe. You shouldn’t have to beg for subs
I don't know what vids to make. It feels hard coming up with ideas that haven't been done before.
actually if he beg for subs and people subscribe it means it worked
Even if this works and you get a million subs you are not going to get sponsored. They look for the amount of subscribers AND the content. If your content is poor but you have a lot of subs its not gonna work.

To add to this, active engagement also really matters. Back in like 2016, there was this random channel that wanted to do the sub for a sub thing. I agreed and we subscribed to each other's channels. Over the years, this guy had actually grown rather large. I just checked right now, and he has 250k subs. But, he made a video a while back where he discussed how his channel gets lowish viewership compared to the amount of subscribers he has. He seems to have somewhat gotten himself out of this rut, as his videos are getting about 1k-30k on average, but that still seems low compared to the amount of subscribers he has. Just remember, you reap what you sow.

One more thought, it can be really helpful to create videos on topics that you personally want to learn about. I'm not talking about common topics such as CFOP, but anything that doesn't have a result when you search it up in YouTube. I've adopted this method for making videos about video game modifications, and even though I only have ~100 subscribers, some of my videos get upwards of 5k views.

Yeah I mean that's one of the big challenges. Tons of people have a YouTube channel and post solves. I post solves just as a way to use google's storage instead of mine to document stuff, but I also post some cube theory stuff, custom hardware stuff, and the infamous world's fastest SMu Z perm.

I would suggest just posting stuff you wanna make and stuff you would want to watch and let that be enough for you. If other things come out of it and your channel grows, that can be bonus stuff. Making stuff in the hopes of getting attention, sponsorships, etc almost never works out.

I have a unique (from my understanding) way of starting videos in mind, it is called an exordium.

Thank you for the knowledge.

I am similar I started my channel a few days ago but i can’t find any of my videos even when I search specificaly for them 😭

Hi! I would like to get sponsored by SpeedCubeShop.com and I have 37 subscribers currently. I would like you guys to sub to me. I will sub you back if I get notified about it.
Asking people to sub won't work well, so I suggest just posting content that you enjoy. For example on my channel I post what ever puzzles or challenges that I felt like recording. I have recently been getting into relays and for my viewers it seems to be good content.
So just post different variety content and see what videos get more views/subs, and make more videos similar to them. You will get a lot more attraction and subs that way.
