is there anyone who can give me LEGIT AND FORMATIVE INFO about the ghost hand cube. ive seen videos, but i want to know how it is right out of the box, overall smoothness, cutting corners, etc. ive only seen one thread, but people were just saying things like "ya this cube is good". i need some great info so i know what im getting. :fp

Yup they are good cubes, and That thread was made for questions, input about ghost hands. Read it and your questions shall be answered.

Hey, to answer your question this cube is excellent right out of the box. Its very smooth, no lube needed, cuts corners very well. And is by far my fav. speed 3x3x3. I hope i helped but if not im sorry.

P.S. Worth buying you will love it.

I'm not sure if I've heard any negative things about this cube.

Yeah, hehe, that's because there are no bad things about it., just the stickers

Oh that's right, I did hear that the stickers were bad. But hey, that's an easy fix, nothing cubesmith can't handle ;)

Yup. Honestly, I think this might be the legendary cube we have been waiting for!!!!!

I'll do a quantitative review of the Ghost Hand in the same format of my reviews from here: http://www.speedsolving.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12659

Ghost Hand

Resistance to pops: 9.5
Resistance to lock ups: 8
Ability to cut corners: 7.5
Speed: 10
Average score: 8.75
Overall score: B to B+

Weight: Very Light
Need to break in: No
Feel: Smooth, Quiet
Tension: Tight

Where to buy: Ebay

Comments: OK so I don't know the best tension, so the cube is still in factory tension or tight tension settings. Pestvic's breakin method actually worked to loosen up this cube a little. I don't really feel like taking off the center caps because it's a huge pain in the ass. The cube feels very similar to a Type F but lacks the corner cutting capabilities of the Type F. I would say this cube is generally inferior to the Type F before the Type F deteriorates. Unfortunately, I doubt the corner cutting capabilities of the cube even at loose tension settings. It's not a springy enough cube to cut corners.

As mentioned already, stickers are crap. But I never count stickers as part of the hardware. Also, this cube seems to work better without silicone lube. Adding spray lube will just make it slow and draggy. Yes, this cube will be faster when it's dry.

Ghost Hand cubes are really smooth right out of the box, and can corner cut like a dream, however, Ghost Hand cubes might be a little to loose for your taste. Mine would over-spin. I d get my fastest time with that cube, and after I lubed it it worked a lot better. It feels bad at first but one you get used to it, you'll like it. It is currently my main sped cube, until my sticker-less Dayan comes.
