Idk, has cube betting ever been thought of before? Do you think it’s a good or bad idea? I feel like, if implemented right, it would be AMAZING. That could also make it so there is a higher prize pool at bigger comps like nats and worlds, and people could live on cubing from comp wins alone.

It would be the pair of 6s and 4s, because you have two pairs of cards instead of one
I also love poker, and blackjack
 
To be fair, betting on Poker or Blackjack, Swimmers and all the other card games is far less risky and addicting than the current state of sports betting and casinos.

TL,DR: I'm not advocating for gambling, not at all. Just saying Card Games at the local bar are far less likely to have you adopt an addiction.

You can read a lot of studies about this, psychologically, your mind loses touch on how much money you bet in how much time with modern online betting sites.
With table poker, you usually have your (hard) earned money. You have it in your mind beforehand, you have it in your mind during and you have it in your mind after the game. At any point you know how much money you lost/gained/have at stake. If you don't have a gambling addiction creeping up, you are usually relatively safe from overspending(relatively).
With modern sports betting(which is what it comes down to since physical brokers are shutting down fast), all you need to do is type in an amount and let Paypal handle the transaction for you. The temptation and needed effort to bet money is reduced to a minimum, plus the actual amount you are spending is kept away from you.
